I haven't played a lot of games this year, but I would have to choose UT2004.

I've mainly been playing older games, nothing released thus far in 2004 has screamed "must buy" to me yet.

I'm sure Metroid Prime 2 will be GOTY for me when it comes out though.

Burnout 3 is easily the most fun and addictive game I've played in a long time.

Tales of Symphonia

Nothing else left much of an impression on me this year. It might have been Pikmin 2, but after spending hours in the cave levels that game has fallen far below my expectations.

I haven't really been playing games released this year, I have been catching up on last years and older games. It will probably be one of the fall games for me, I am guessing Metroid Prime 2.

In the 25 or so games I've bought for my PS2, XBox, and PC this year I would have to say it would easily be Burnout 3 for XBox.

It's the most fun I've had with a game in a long time.

Is Gradius V that good? It's only 25 bucks, and I was considering picking it up...

I would pick Burnout 3 so far, especially because it was a game that was far, far off my radar but one I now enjoy tremendously.

Still, Prince of Persia 2, Ratchet and Clank 3, and Jak 3 are all coming out in the near future, and though I just finished playing PoP1, that would've been my game of the year for last year...
