Anybody still playing Rainbow Six 3?

Just wondering if anyone from here is still playing the original game - if so, feel free to add me - Trigger9mm. It seems that alot of people still play both even if they have the new one already. I'm also up for Ghost Recon.

And to make this thread more forum-worthy - if you've played both, what do you like better about each of them?

I haven't played the first one. I picked up Black Arrow when it was $27 at Target recently and I'm working my way through the single player campaign. I'll go back and play the missions on a harder level, but so far 'recruit' is giving me enough of a challenge to keep the missions fun but not too easy. I guess that's not a good sign. In Ghost Recon I always played at the default difficulty.

So far I haven't played online much. I got in one game of terrorist hunt but the other guys booted me out after a round.

I haven't been so unlucky. Only been kicked once and it was because I was the last person alive and was taking too long to clear the map. Alcatraz is kinda hard by yourself on elite with only one bar of health and your last clip of ammo. :/

I'm playing both games and I'm bummed that we haven't hooked up some dvdtalk live games. We need to get together.

I tried online and I got into one game but I had my ass handed to me pretty quick so I got off.

I am playing the second one, when I get online once or twice a week. Anyone can add me to their list as well, same user name.

I've played Black Arrow a bit. The only complaint with it is that it only added an extra gun over the first game. Some of the maps are a little too big, also.

That's when I'm wrapping up and going to bed. Getting up at 5:10 am sucks. Maybe we have enough players to keep a good game going even if people are dropping out and joining in.

I have R63 and R63:BA and I try to play them as much as I can (not much.) I can imagine still playing them for a long time- they appeal to me a lot more than most shooting games. My biggest problem is that my friends and I are rarely online at the same time, and when we are, they want to play Halo 2.

GamerTag: STOKELY1013 (I share it with my girlfriend, but we're gonna add a second account and a second XBOX)

my friend is sending me R6 BLack Arrow, so I'll probably be on that soon. Although, when I have been playing lately (not much) it's been that KOTOR2 game

I play it everyday with my clanmates in co-op mode. We are trying to clear both missions and terrorist hunts on R63 and R63BA before Rainbow Six lockdown comes out in March. We don't kick the last person remaining, we enjoy chatting in the dead room until the last person finishes. Feel free to add me Trigger, tn dave

I bought the first R63 this weekend for $10 at EB Games. My dad got an Xbox for Christmas so we bought it to have 2 copies of a game we could play on Live.

I didn't realize that there are no respawn co-op games! That kinda sucks when you kinda suck. One of us dies so we have to start all over. No saves either.

Eh, when I first started I was terrible. So was my girlfriend. You can stretch time between deaths by just going really slow, and use the game more as a way to stay in touch and have a conversation. You'll get better pretty quickly. My girl and I would fight alot about tactics annd kill-hogging at first, too, but then we realized that it's actually really rewarding to just sit there and talk out exactly what you think you need to do. Then when you both live through the chaos that your plan turns into, you'll find it more rewarding. Am I making sense? I dunno, I just think that it's possible to have a ton of fun doing co-op even whhen you are not very good at the game. At least co-op exists, otherwise you'd have to duke it out between yourselves...

I just put this in again the other night. This is my favorite type of online game, a true co-op game. I don't a chance to play much, but my user name is the same and would love a good co-op game with some dvdtalkers.

My Dad is more lost in this game than I am (which is pretty bad) but if you guys don't mind a couple of newbies I'd love to get a big co-op game going. Actually, we're not newbies, we just suck.

We're planning to play Thursday night (1/20). So far, it's just he and I working our way through the missions.

I just cracked open my old copy of R63 to finish the campaign, and have also been loading up Black Arrow to look for online games. Add Calico if you want to try and match up.

I'm gonna be playing today, either by myself or with the dudes in my squad. I'd love a chance to help some of you guys get settled in with co-op games. Sending friend invites now.
