Hip Interactive Screen Controller questions

I have been eyeing this Gamecube controller with a 2.6" TFT screen for a while:

http://www.kbtoys.com/genProduct.htm...Nstock/Y/D/673

Does anyone have or has anyone used one (GC, XBOX or PS2 version)? I don't NEED an extra controller but it might be fun to have when the TV is being used by someone else. Does it plug into an outlet? The description mentions a power inverter for mobile use so I'm assuming it needs its own power source to run the TFT screen.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Is that a misprice? If it's not, just think about the quality of an LCD screen that only costs $30..

These were first released at $99. Here's a link to the IGN reivew of the PS2 version. They didn't do a separate review for the different console models. Doesn't look too bad.

Thanks for that link noonan. I got to their website from it and sent them an email. Turns out they have been discontinued. So I ordered one and will report back how it goes. If I don't like it, I can probably eBay it for ~ the $30 I paid.
