I ended up doing the same thing,

I picked the game up yesterday, I was only going to play it for an hour just to see how it was. After what felt like a short time had passed, I look to the clock only to find out I've been playing for 4 HOURS!

Captain's Olimar's journal description of the various items is hilarious, especially the Stone of Glory, hahah! I love this game.

Tanman is right, there's so much to do in this game, its worth the money. Scratch a game you were getting off your september list and put this one on instead, its that good .

Haven't had a chance to do the multiplayer yet.

It's amazing how addicting this game is. I'm starting to dream about pikmin now.

I have 15 hours in and have finally repaid my debt! Now time to do some exploring!

I like the fact that it saves at each level of the dungeon. If I want to try a different strategy, I just hit reset before leaving the dungeon. It is amazing how many Pikmin you can save once you figure out the trick to beating the bosses.

Have not busted out multiplayer yet, but I am having a blast with Pikmin 2. A quality follow-up to a quality game. I hope the series stays alive.

So far I've put about 4 hours into it.

I really like the addition of the second character (Louie), and the complexity of some puzzles because of this addition.

I played multiplayer for 5 hours last night. Really a blast. Some levels were terible, others wer perfect. I hope not only do they continue the franchise, but speed up the development (one a year- like mario party)- I can't wait for the next one.

Just a FYI... the new Best buy next to the Block at Orange (Orange County, CA) has Pikmin 2 for 29.99. For that price, couldn't pass it up (even though I have yet to finish the first one). It could be a grand opening sale (as I didn't notice it in last Sunday's ad), but you never know...

Also had Splinter Cell Pandora's for PS2 and Terminator 3 for Xbox for the same price...

I am having a blast with this one. It seems rather easy though. Which I think the first one was as well. If they do a 3rd, I hope they implement some kind of difficulty setting. I started it last week and already have over 7,000 of my debt recovered(about 7 hours of play).

I will have to give this one a try in the future. I got bogged down in some of the harder underground levels and ended up hating the game. The underground parts really ruined the game for me. I sold it only a few weeks after getting it.
