According to one of your previous posts in one of the other threads, the next roster update is scheduled for the 7th of Sept. If that is the case, I think we will start before the roster update. I assume this means then that whoever gets Miami will have Williams for the whole season right?(I have not admin'ed a league before) Or do the roster updates happen during the season as well?

Although in the spirit of majority rule, I can start it after the 7th as well, however I would personally like to get this puppy going as soon as possible.

I was just curious becuase I know Miami would be screwed but some other teams made out pretty good.

Just as a curiousity, has anyone thought of starting a league where every player is drafted? Kinda like Fantasy Football? I believe they have the option, but I wonder who would go for it. I know how much of a pain it's been to get two leagues up and running; how long would it take for a small league to all get together one night and have the draft?

Then picking the teams would essentially only confirm your favorite colors

I think the Fantasy Football draft would be awesome, but I'm pretty sure you can't do it. It was originally announced for the game, but on espnvideogames.com I believe in one of the Q&As they said they didn't have time to get that in for this year.

I am up for trying it, although wary given the start up time for the first league. Although, if JChaos is right, then it isn't an option anyway. I will look into it and see if it can be done.

Well...not sure what the minimum is for a season...I dont care about how big the league is really. Have 9 so far so it looks like shooting for 32 is probably out of the question. I guess we will see how it ends up next week or if everyone currently signed up would be fine with a 10 team season.

Alright, we have 12. Anyone else? It looks like noone is wanting the same teams, so I don't think a draft is necessary. I will start the league up on Monday after 11 pm Central with the amount of people that we have at that point and we can begin signins, etc.

If anyone who has committed that doesnt want to play with 12 people then let me know and we can try holding out or you can just drop.

If you play with 12 people, who plays the other teams, the computer? Or are the games an automatic win for the team that has an owner?

My friend is in a league, but he's been wanting to join a second league as well. As long as he can be the Cowboys, and that nobody quits in the league.

Nobody play the other teams. It is a league where only the teams with an owner play. The computer randomly generates a schedule. So if there is 12 owners, those 12 play against each other for how many weeks the Commish set up the league for.
