Sega Genesis

So Im sitting on my porch this morning smoking my cigarette watching the people next door have a yard sale. I see a Sega Genesis on one of the tables, so I saunter over and promptly inquire as to how much they want. The guy tells me $5. As I was preparing to offer $10( Im not too bright lol), the lady yells over dont forget the bag with the games. I offer $15 for everything and he accepts. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning again except my parents were not around to hook it up for me. The games were complete in their cases, and the Genesis( and 2 controllers) looked like it had been touched once.

Sonic 1 and 2
Joe Montana Sports Talk Football(played it briefly, god is it bad. lol)
Barkley Shut up and Jam
World Class Leaderboard Golf

I cant wait to pick up some more games(Mutant League games!!!)Anyone else ever have a similar find at a yard sale?

If any of your neighbors sell their Pong machine, tell them to hold it for me I hardly ever stop by yard sales, but I do look in the junk aisles of thrift stores maybe a couple times a year. Never found anything worthwhile though

The mutant league games are awesome.

Don't forget about Streets of Rage and Altered Beast either.

A friend of mine who worked for Sega just called me today and told me she found a whole bunch of Sega Genesis games and she is going to give them to me. She remembered I had asked her if I could buy any from her a few months back and since she did not need them I guess I can have them.

I helped her out on a laptop purchase so I will probably waive some money anyway so I do not feel bad for getting the games for free.

I know she has one copy of Shining Force and I am hoping for Shining Force 2.

I still remember, about 20 years ago, seeing these at a yard sale for $5 each:

I was 7, and didn't have the money. I'm still kicking myself.

Star Control or Target Earth were the best for action IMHO
