I'm not gonna videotape myself playing Doom3, but it's friggin scary. Maybe it's my large monitor, loud 5.1 speaker setup, and awesome graphics card - but playing it in the dark is freakin me out. I keep jumping and yelling 'holy shit!' Not being able to use the flashlight and the gun at the same time makes it even worse. I now believe those videos are showing real fear.

Took me long enough to actually buy this game... you know, playing it at E3 and demos and crap didn't do anything for me, but the actual game is freaky.
