The Xbox murders

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmp...s/bodies_found

Holy crap all this over some damn game system and clothes!? I think it was allot more then that but that is what the media has picked up on. I was watching CNN I watch it for laughs sometimes and they are calling it the Xbox murders. I know you want your name out there but M$ can't be to happy about that little story title.

I wonder when they will try and blame video games. I hope they don't cause damn this is some sick shit. I guess M$ could use this in ad's. The system so good 5 people were killed over it.

PS. You be happy to know all the guys who did it are now in police hands so that is a good thing.

Opps I put it here cause the xbox part but a mod can close it if they want.

PS. I hope to god they don't find a copy of manhunt at this guys place now. You can kill people with bats in that game. I don't think they will blame games this time it's just too sick.

Yeah I don't think Microsoft wants this kind of publicity!

Brutal.

And I thought it was bad a while back when the one guy came out and shot his roommates' X-box because they were keeping him up late at night.

It's a shame how "Xbox" is being so thoroughly tied to this incident.

I mean, these were some sick, depraved f**kers who probably owned exactly 1 game for the system (some NFL title). The system had nothing to do w/ anything other than the fact that it just was.

I'm sure some of this guys clothes that were "stolen" were probably Sean Jean or Hilfigger, so why don't they call it the Hilfigger Murders or something.

I mean, talk about dragging a name throug the mud.

Ahh another sensationalist title to get viewers/readers.

Lovely media we have.

I've been following the story before this XBOX situation was brought into it. This happened about 25 miles from me (I live in Orlando). It was serious news reporting then. The killer was still loose, mass murder, etc.

Then Sunday rolled by, and I was surfing the web on my cellphone on my lunch break at work.. lo and behold, the headlines read "4 charged in Florida killings over Xbox."

Nevermind this guy's criminal history. Nevermind that this could've happened if it was any object worth over $100.

No kidding. I'd be more amused if they'd said Microsoft X-box killings, as I have nothing against the x-box but wouldn't mind seeing M$ explicitly drug through the mud some more. A lot of people probably have no idea that MS makes the X-box.

Closing duplicate. Let's try to avoid using "M$" or "Micro$oft" when referring to Microsoft... thanks.
