I am grateful for Punch Out because it introduced us to the great King Hippo, who was later shown in all his animated glory on Captain N.

Anyway, NES Emulator + Punch Out ROM = you play on your computer =) I still have my NES and cartridge though. Time to plug it in when i get home!

Tyson was cake. I always left just a tiny bit of energy on him after the first round so I could TKO him in the second. SMM would usually land 1 or 2 of those damn spinny punches on me.

Wow.....so I too wanted to play this game right now on an emulator. Downloaded Jnes. Googled "Mike Tyson Punch Out" and it brings me to a hacked version which has everyone naked!!

So, what you're saying is that I should finally upgrade from NESticle? It's served me so well for like 7 years.

This is not the ultimate NES emulator anymore.

The buttons A and B alternated hands.

Punch-Out!! was one of the games on Nintendo's poll of games to include in a future Classic NES series for GBA.

Mike Tyson was replaced in regular Punch Out though, right? Didn't they just make him white and call him Mr. Dream or something.

Had the most trouble with Tyson. My friend could knock him out, but I could only win by TKO.

Punch Out!! was included in Animal Crossing, but not the Tyson version.

One hit = youre down. Three hits = game over. That's just the first freaking round! Tyson is the hardest... without question!

I still play MTPO at least 2-3x a year and it's shockingly still pretty easy. Tyson is the only fighter remotely challenging due to his speed. I agree that Mr. Sandman was much harder than Super Macho Man (who was really slow and easy to time). Still a great game after all these years........"float like a butterfly sting like a mosquito" "I'll give you a TKo from Tokyo" "I can't drive so I'm gonna walk all over you"......memories

Just beat Super Nacho Man's ass. No energy lost for me. TKO in the first round. Mr Dream proceeded to kick my ass big time over and over again.

Tyson was harder by far. I beat Super Macho Man rather early on and even after having practice playing Tyson thanks to the code I still was getting beat by him. I remember being amazed when my friend first got past the 1:30 mark.

When I finally got the points against him I was stoked.
