ESPN NFL 2K5 Third League (XBOX)

I had an idea that may be a good idea for the main gamertag thread. Instead of PMing each other every week, why don't we all put our usual gaming schedules and it can be listed in the first post.
That way, we can expect to see certain people at certain times. Of course, real life happens, so it's not a hard and fast rule, but at least it would prevent us from logging in only to find no one from the league is on.
To start with, here's my usual schedule:
M-F: 9-10 CST, but sometimes 8-10
Sat, Sun: Random times, but mostly at night (9-11 CST)
And if anyone gets tired of playing NFL, I'd love to kick some Top Spin butt!

Also rather than using PMs to schedule games. I suggest making it mandatory to do so in this thread. That way everyone knows who's making an effort to get their games in and who is not.

Well, My Cardinals are off to an 0-1 start after getting their asses handed to them by the Falcons. Hopefully I get to play someone who sucks as bad as I do, so I won't end the season without a single win.
The Cards running game flat out blows big sloppy donkeys, anytime I try a run it's like trying to ram through a blockade of Mack Trucks with a Volkswagon Jetta. If the was not bad enough, Marcel Shipp has just gone on the DL for the whole year and when the roster updates come in September, the Cards running game will be even worse
Oh well, hopefully when ESPN gets everything straightened out maybe, I'll be able able to trade A. Boldin or somebody to strengthen my pathetic 0-line, which will might give me a second or two more in the pocket and maybe even help blocking on some of the rushing plays. Right now my O-line is about as effective as a pile of leaves.

I don't use many 3 or 4 WR sets because without the extra tight-ends to block, I end up with DTs and DEs down my shorts at the snap of the ball. My biggest problem though is that when I get enough time to see who is open, I end up pushing the wrong button and throwing the ball in the wrong direction. Like if I run a few plays in which Boldin is the blue button reciever, then on a later play when he is a yellow button reciever and I suddenly notice he is wide open, I end up mashing the blue button and then yelling profanities as the ball bounces off of my fullbacks head.

I dont think ESPN has updated the rosters yet. I still dont have Eddie George, but he's a Cowboy.
