There is a payphone in Kent at the above locations. Although reading the other site they don't think that anything will happen at these locations. I still plan on leaving work for a bit to check it out. What can it hurt.

My GPS coordinates appear to be on the capital of Texas grounds, just a short walk across the street. I'll take a quick break and check that out too!

I just relized how old this news is by looking at the Bungie forum. My brother-in-law has a friend who works MS and gets him Xbox games. He told him that he would be busy in Sept. or Oct (i can't remember) referring to a new game. I said HALO 2 is not out until Nov and he said that he heard it was coming out early. This was about a week ago. Now I am wondering!

I think from a PR standpoint it would be a mistake. When I worked at EB the attention major releases got on release dates was incredible. They should ride the buzz that will be created. Maybe a demo will be available or they will announced a new date after that counter expires. Who knows

If you're going to visit (and I strongly encourage it!), be sure to adjust for your time zone. The times are listed as Pacific Daylight Time (PDT); 12PM PDT = 1PM MDT = 2PM CDT = 3PM EDT. So for Ohio, add three hours.

Thanks David. I just want to make sure that I should adjust my time. Are you going to speculate on what may happen? I am currently trying to locate a small tape recorder so i can record the potential phone call. I bought one of the small recorder devices that attach to the back of the phone.
I'm excited about going. My wife doesn't understand why I am going but my boss at work is understanding and going to let me leave first thing in the morning to go and check it out.

My guess is that absolutely nothing special will happen at any of these "axons." I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Well, it looks like the payphone theory panned out after all. I wonder what the deal is with those coordinates that aren't near payphones... As a side note, apparently sfsdfd activated one of the axons. I've seen the IRC log of his description of the call elsewhere. Perhaps he will show up here with more info soon. Good job sfsdfd!
