what do people think as "cheese" in ESPN football?
i didn't want to hijack the ps2 espn football league but i wanted to see how people felt about "cheesy" gameplay.
i don't want to be rude when i play against someone.
using a WR for the quarterback... that seems kind of cheesy to me. lame.
going for it on 4th... seems ok to me. mainly b/c you're penalized so much for doing so.
using no-huddle... again, seems ok to me b/c you're limited to 5 plays (i think).

only cheesy thing i know some people do is to kick the ball so that the receiver catches it diving out of bounds.

No huddle is fine when used once in a while. No huddle every down is cheesy. Come on kids let's enjoy the game.
That's my 2 cents.

It must be a punt, since chances are you could let the kickoff go out-of-bounds for a penalty, but why would that be cheesy? It takes a bit of skill to master punting in such a way, which is the complete opposite of the definition of cheese.
It sounds like a perfectly placed coffin corner type of punt. Now, if I've completely misunderstood what you're talking about, please detail it a bit more.

Why you ask?
I loaded up my very first XBL game.
Played some guy named WizardoftheLand
He proceded to get my guys to fumble the ball every down. He won every down by 14+yards, and never made a mistake.
**** him. I don't fumble the ball that much.

In Madden 2004 online play for PS2 I mastered the "scaring the shit out of my opponent" by going completly no huddle on my first drive. I mastered all my audibles and hot routes and they never see it coming.

Doesn't sound like online football gaming has improved much since NFL2K1, which was the first and last time I bothered with it. Though I couldn't try now if I wanted as I have no broadband or even a land phone line for that matter in my apartment.

There was some severe lag, and everytime I had the ball I fumbled. He sacked me on every down. Every sack was a fumble.
I only played 2 minutes with him.
