New Crimson Skies content.

3 new planes, 1 new game, and 2 new maps.

I've thought about getting the Xbox Live kit that comes with Crimson Skies. This might give me some incentive.

I played the day these were released and everyone was trying the new planes. So far, none of them impressed me much, although a few people were getting good at a couple of them. One of them uses some sort of plasma weapon that seemed rather effective at killing. The Firebrand seems like it will be the least of the three so far though. I won't pass judgment on any yet though, as they may take some getting used to.

The map is rather large. It uses the Sea Haven type grass and mountains but is a large plateau with some structures. Lots of room to move in, but not a lot of tight spots for hiding. It was interesting though, as a team dogfight game kept moving from spot to spot where the action was taking place, instead of always being in the same area.

I haven't tried the new game yet though, so I can't comment on that yet.

I wish the half.com seller I bought this from would send it already.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll have to get on and download it today, although i almost always just play regular dogfight online. I haven't had this much fun with a flight game singe Xwing and Tie Fighter on the PC.

I like the Hellhound plane (i believe that is what it is called) it has pretty good secondary and primary weapons and a decent speed. Granted i still lost the matches i played with it but at least my kills equalled my deaths

We definately need to set up a time for dvdtalkers to get together and play some Chicken Pox on here. There aren't many games of it which suprises me since it is so new and many oh man is it fun to play.

I've wanted to try some of the other game types, but I am usually too impatient to wait for games or start my own, so I typically head back to Team Dogfight.

If people are up for doing some of the other types though, I'll be there if I can.

I'm rarely on Live, but if you catch me I'll never turn down some Crimson Skies action.

As long as we play something other than dogfight, I'm up for playing. I can handle team dogfight but I like the other games a lot better.

I really enjoy the new game Chicken Pox. Something about the trail of feathers behind the chicken that just kills me.

I've never been on LIVE w/ CS but I wouldn't mind a friendly DVDTalk dogfight.
