Could someone please measure their xbox for me?

Strange question I know, but I need the dimensions of it. I'm looking at entertainment centers and need to know if it would fit in a certain place. Thanks for the effort, I do appreciate it.

I looked up the manual on the Xbox home page:

12.5 x 4 x 10.5 inches (w/h/d)

For a second there I thought the thread title was "Could someone pleasure their xbox for me?", and I thought I was in the Mature forum.

Reminds me of the Penny Arcade strips with the guys sitting in front of their TVs w/ gorillas in the hands/laps. The gorillas symbolizing the original xbox controllers.

Oops, it was a grizzly, not a gorilla. Here are some links

Yeah, it's ridiculous how wide it is. It took some juggling around to get it in my entertainment center. Plus it's too heavy for me to want to set it on top of my dvd or cd player and the beveled top prevents sitting things on top of it.

I wish I had the link, but my brother reminded me of this site we found a year or so again, where these guys took your XBOX and modded it to the Media Center and put it inside a much smaller casing. It was like $200 for the service, so I never thought seriously about it, but I wonder how they did that.
