geez!

I sold my damn GC this past winter....Mario just wasn't doing it for me. Celda didn't either! BUT THIS!!!!! Zelda looks awesome! This is the game I wanted eariler! Metroid 2 also looks good, same as 1...but that's still good.

Zelda: Four Swords looks like a joke...but this other game looks AWEsome!

I'll be sure to pick up a GC later on this year. Wait a sec....is Zelda going to come out this year?

From the looks of it, this appears like it could possibly take place after Ocarina, with an invading army or some such story. Since Wind Waker was a different time, I could easily see how both games could be coming out and both look different.

Spoiler:
In fact, if this game does come after Ocarina, it might tell us more about what happens to Hyrule/Link that leads to the land being under water. I don't remember all the details that were revealed in Wind Waker, but there was definately more to the story of adult Link in Ocarina than we played.

Sorry, huge Zelda fan since the first game and just love to speculate.

Hey guys.... remember one thing... After Ocarina and Majora's Mask.. we got that awesome video of Link vs. Gannon back in 2001 that was supposedly the sequel and the first on the GameCube.

Member what happened?

They snookered us and went CelShaded and Link as a kid on us, complete opposite direction.

I loved Wind Waker.. fantastic.. but I won't believe any video I see anymore until I can play the game at the E3 before it's out on the system.

That was always a tech demo, not an actual game.

That game literally made my jaw drop. I thought I was excited after seeing the Halo 2 videos, but this thing definitely has me more excited.

The "Celda" haters have been silenced.

The videos look amazing! Glad I kept my cube.

One slight criticism though: can we please stop with the block pushing/pulling puzzles? It got old when it first appeared in Tomb Raider, by now, it's just beating a dead horse. This games looks awesome and I have faith in Nintento and the Zelda franchise, but for pete's sake, come up with some original puzzles that don't involve blocks. I'm begging you!

The video is incredible, I'll definitely be at the front of the line. Block pushing/pulling never gets old. I could watch Link push and pull blocks for the rest of my life and be happy

According to IGN, the game is actually quite far along in development, so, I'd imagine we're looking at a holiday release for this one.

Interestingly enough, if you download the movie from Nintendo's site, it has that cheesy old-school nintendo music. But if you download it from IGN.com, it actually has music from Conan The Barbarian (which makes the trailer much cooler in my opinion)

<----- grinning ear to ear.

This is awesome. I was quite disappointed when they announced the cel-shaded WW. But I kept an open mind. I enjoyed WW quite a bit. But to me, it didn't have a 'Zelda' feel to it. It played great but I just felt it could have been an entirely different game just by changing out Link for someone else. I had already decided I'm not onboard for another go-round with WW2, but this? Oh yeah. Release day.

No offense to Link, Zelda is a close second for me, but I think it would take the Rapture to steal thunder away from Halo2.

This looks incredible. I loved WW but this looks to blow it away. Just when people start writing off the Big N, they pull this out. Also the DS Mario and Mario Kart look cool. Long Live Nintendo
