Has anyone had any problems with the power switch? When I turn the system on, the orange light flashes and only the fan is running. I took it in to Gamestop and tried it there using my same power supply and it worked, of course. Came back home and it worked again for a few hours then went out again. Gamestop had a used power supply for $10. I might try that.

All I can tell you is that they do seem to be easily fried. I had what I thought was a small outage in power at my home (came home, clocks were flashing and answering machine had reset) and the only thing that wouldn't work anymore was my Gamecube. After switching power cords (I had a spare from my first Cube that broke) everything worked fine.

I've had my Gamecube since the U.S. launch and have not had any problems. ***knocks on wood***
