WorldOfWarcraft Beta?
So anyone get in on this?
If so, please post on what the game is like.
I can't believe they are making the beta 5 months. Knowing how blizzard is like, the beta will probably then be 7 months.

I didn't try to get in because I want to wait til the game is complete before I start playing, and I couldn't take a character wipe.
From reading the official beta boards it sounds like people are enjoying the questing system. Here is one player's story that sounded interesting.
Sounds people are finally not watching the xp bar, and not grinding to level. I have read a lot of players saying that they are surprised to level because they are watching their quest status more. Of course most players are still in the honeymoon period, so we will see if good impressions continue.
Now if their pvp system is as good as the questing... I am there.
Would love to hear some dvdtalkers opinions though.

I'm hunting on a beach alone and wouldn't ya know it a "piece of treasure map" drops.
so I think "hey this is cool". I click on it and accept the quest...
without spoiling the fun, I am sent around the zone looking here and there for clues and bits and pieces of the treasure map....which after some various forms of fun eventually leads me to the treasure!
