The Black Cauldron- First game I ever played and it took me years to beat, I wasnt even in gradeschool
Kings Quest series (III, V, and VI in particular) Monkey Island III Advance Wars HalfLife- This was the first game that actually got me into FPS, I was always put off by the pointless shooting before. The Longest Journey, for being the first modern adventure game to be just as compelling as the oldschool ones were. And I suppose Asherons Call for being the first and only MMORPG I liked. After playing open beta, I bought the game opening day and was hooked for two years of intense playing. |
My first post
I've been reading DVDTalk forms almost every day since 1998. For the first time, I have to chime in.
Here goes: Turok Evolution. I've owned every system since Channel F (pre 2600), and played just about every "big time game" and most of the obscure ones, and for whatever reason, I find myself playing and replaying Turok Evolution every night. Runners up: Zelda series, of course. Resident Evil series Mario kart (first two) Doom (1 and 2) Turok 2 Out of this world Any body else got it this bad for Turok? |

In fact I just sold my arcade machine today. Ever since I beat the game (all 255 stages with no cheats) I haven't had the urge to play it. |
Probably the Close Combat (PC) series of games.
