I am an IGN insider - don't remember how i became one or how much I paid or whatever, but apparently they are having 25% off subscription for current insiders to the new merged services which include all of gamespy and ign and fileplanet plus a free game download (splinter cell or rainbow six 3) and 3 magazine subscriptions (to shitty magazines I won't ever read) and other junk. Anyone gonna do it? I'm thinking about it.

I've found that I use the insider thing to download videos often. I think insider was about the cost of a regular mag subscription and i already subscribe to more than a couple gaming mags.

I've noticed the banner ads but I haven't really looked into it yet. I think my renewal is coming up soon so I guess I'll consider this. I don't use Gamespy but I guess the fileplanet sub would be nice.
