Soul Calibur is a fantastic game. Second best fighting game of all time to Soul Calibur 2 IMO.

Power Stone is fun in multiplayer, but the single player gets old fast, even for a fighting game. If you like the Smash Bros games, you'll like this.

Street Fighter 3 is pretty good, though I grew sick of the series well before this game.

I haven't played the other 2, though as I understand it Phantasy Star Online isn't much fun offline, and I'd be shocked if the DC servers were still up.

I've only played Powerstone 2 and PSO, but I had a great time with both of them. Yeah, PSO is no longer online, but I didn't even go online that much. I played through the single player, all levels, and had a blast at it. However, I'm very entertained by games in which you can almost continually level up, and PSO definitely fit that bill.

I've never played Giant Gram, but if you're looking for a wrestling game, track down Fire Pro Wrestling. I had the Saturn version, and it was completely absolutely awesome. Was probably one of my most played games of all time. I never got around to picking up the DC one, although I really should have

All those are good titles although I've never played Giant Gram. Even though I never played PSO online much, I thought the offline game was pretty good to keep me going until i found the dreadful bug of only being able to use the game on one console, one VMU, one joystick (j/k), and one version of the game basically. I'd have to lug around my stuff to a friends house to play it basically.

Giant Gram - Fantastic game...someone needs to bring this wrestling engine to the states. The only drawback is that there is a lot of kanji and no auto load feature

Soul Calibur - Fun game to play, graphically it is still stunning today...but it is a little on the button mashing side

Phantasy Star - never really got into it...so meh...

haven't played the others

You picked up a nice batch of fighting games...and one great action RPG!

Soul Calibur is a classic. It's really not much different than SC2.

Power Stone 2 is a really fun multiplayer game. Better than the first one, they added a lot more multiplayer modes.

Giant Gram is a classic wrestler, but it is hard to play for us Westerners. Good graphics, but most important excellent controls and tons of moves.

PSO is one of my favorites. I even spent 10+ hours offline on this game. There are tons of little quests to do, and then the main quest as well. Sure there are really only four or five different worlds, and each one takes around 45 minutes to complete, so the main quest is short. But to get all the way through you have to spend a lot of time leveling up your character, and have the fun is leveling up your Mag. There are some hidden Mags from NiGHTS! FYI, there are free public servers popping up now, so you can go online. A Broadband Adapter (BBA) is required to play on them, but you can use your PC as a Dreamcast BBA! Check out this thread for more info.

Street Fighter 3rd Strike is a great 2D fighter. Again, you got a really good (and rare) game!

Have fun!

Jeremy
