I've been having fun single player. The battles are immense, the puzzles are creative (require thought) and I don't have to worry about competition. I can imagine how insane multiplayer is with Link's battling to collect Force Gems, but now I'm enjoying the single play experience. BTW there is no leveling up ie; you lose all the stuff you accumulated when you start a new level. I played a beach level yesterday that had Shadow Link throwing HUGE Windwaker bombs that caused the whole screen to go up in smoke (you had to evade by jumping to GBA). Nice.

Back to your question, if you have a lot of time to play, then you're probably better off renting the game, since I think it can be beat in about a week.

This game is a sequel to A Link from the Past.
If you liked A Link to the Past, you should like this game on single player.
This reminds me a lot of A Link to the Past and Links Awakening. A lot like old school gaming mixed with some new.
I enjoy it.
Not as great as A Link to the Past so far (my favorite), but stands well on it's own anyways. One of the better for me. Reminds me more of the old adventures than games like Wind Waker. But, I actually am enjoying this better than Wind Waker, so for me thats good.

I have a couple of questions regarding multi-player:
- If two human players play, who controls the other two characters? Does player one control both, each player controls a second, or does the game give you the option to choose who controls which?
- Do all players need a Gameboy Advance in multi-player mode? I have one friend who does not have one but would still like to play. I doubt this is possible, but since single player could be played without the GBA I thought I would ask.

beated the game with 4 players, what an awesome game; i dont know how one player solves the puzzle in one player mode. i was pondering if one player mode, does the puzzles will be different than the one with multi players mode.
