Neoya X2VGA High Definition VGA Pack

Has anyone bought this??

I read about it in PC Magazine and Xbox Nation Magazine.
It suppost to make the Xbox think the HDTV pack is connected to the console and then converts the video signal output by the Xbox into one that can be displayed on a PC monitor.
Delivers crystal clear 480p, 720p, and 1080i

From all I have heard and read about it, it is supposed to be pretty sweet for those of us without HDTV.

I have one. the only problem with it is with displaying 480i. It doesn't display it at all. It does downconvert the signal to a lower res in a half-screen mode, but at least you can see when you need to make adjustments on your dashboard.
The display looks good, but just how good will depend on the quality of your monitor. better dpi (smaller pixels) on the monitor makes a HUGE difference. Certain brands of LCD monitors are sometimes not even compatible at all, so be prepared for that if you are toying with that idea.
The 480p, 1080i, and 720p look great, but still not as crisp and clear as the picture you would have on most HDTVs in my opinion.

It is a GREAT item to have around if you like LAN gaming with Xboxes though...it sure beats lugging TVs around, and pretty much everyone has a monitor of some kind.
