I picked up Soldier of Fortune 2 for Xbox a few days ago and my xbox does not want to play it. Everytime I put the disk in I get a "Damaged/Dirty Disc" error. All my other games and demo discs work fine. I exchanged the game for another copy and the new one gets errors also. Is this a sign that my disc drive is dying? I bought my system back in December 2001. Has anyone else had this problem? Should I send my system to MS for a new disc drive? Thanks for the help.

my xbox started acting up with True Crime - I spent the $ to send it to MS and have them replace the drive.

I keep getting Dirty Disc Errors also on a few games....Looks like you have a Thomson drive also.
