Are Brute Force and Agent Under Fire any good?

(NFS didn't interest me very much, EtM got crap reviews from everyone, and I've played/beaten RtCW on the PC).

Thanks for the info.

I thought Agent Under Fire sucked, but Nightfire (which should be platinum hit also) is a pretty decent buy at $19.99.

Brute Force was a little too repetitive for my tastes.

I've been wanting to get th Matrix for a while, but I wasn't about to pay 30-40 bucks for it. Now I get to see the extra scenes.

Castle Wolf is cool, I think I will pick that up. The rest are crap.

i guess i'd be interested in RtCW b/c i see some of my friends on it once in a while on Live...

what about brute force?

better check out gamerankings.

looks like brute force will be worth it... a mindless shooter will be diverting for a while. for $15, really can't go wrong.

Need For Speed:HP2 is a good racing game. Very fun two player also, one is the car, the other is the cop trying to chase him. You can call for road blocks, and spike strips. Good stuff, and well worth the $19.99.

I may pick up RtCW, maybe even Brute Force eventually. (I already have NFS:HP2)

Brute Force is already 19.99 at most places I've seen recently. Doesn't have the "platinum hit" box. Good news on the CW though might finally pick that up

i read that NFS2 was poor on every console except the ps2. something about outsourcing the conversions to the xbox, gc and pc.

Not sure about that. I do have the PS2 version myself. I figured they would all be the same for the most part. I guess that could be the case.

Actually, if it's an EA game, I would be none surprised by it.

Yes, that's what all the reviews said. Which is unfortunate.

Yup. The GCN and Xbox versions of NFS2:HP are really bad according to reviews. Whereas the PS2 version is much better. It really sucks, because the PS2 version has craptacular graphics but great gameplay. If they had preserved the same gameplay and mechanics, but enhanced the graphics and sound for Xbox and GCN, it would've been awesome. They really dropped the ball on this one.

Thanks for the list badlieut. I was hoping House of The Dead 3 would be Platinum in the next batch (I need something else to do with my rifle)

I recommend 007: Nightfire if you want a quick fix for a weekend. Enter The Matirx, while panned by everybody and their mother, was still fun (to me at least)

If you have Live, RTCW is well worth $50. I spent over 200 hours on that game and as soon as I get Live back I will be back on it

NFS2:HP on the xbox/GC were ported by a different company, they are SLOOOOOOOOOW compared to the excellent PS2 version. Stay away from the ports in this case if you have a PS2, since that one is awesome, the rest is merely okay.

Actually Catle Wolf blows chunks on X-box. Hoping it will come out on GC one day.

Elaborate, please. I had heard it was a good Live game with a lot of cool play modes.

You do realize the GameCube is less powerful then the Xbox, right? If it were to come to GameCube, not only would the graphics and sound not be as nice, but you will not have online play. So if you say it 'blows chunks' on Xbox, it will do much worse on the Cube.
