Argh! I hate the Zelda camera! HATE! HATE! HATE!

So I just started playing the new Zelda game - it's been warming the shelf for a while, and running out of games I decided to take it for a spin finally.

The game is fine, the controls simple - but GOD DAMN THAT CAMERA! Stay PUT! QUIT MOVING! It's on this constant lazy suzan spin around Link - making going in a straight line a bitch! Its not quite enough to make me abandon playing, but it's cerntanly slowing my progress down.

Man, you must not have played many PS1/2 platformers if you think the camera in Zelda is bad.

Perhaps your controller is whack? Seriously, the camera in Zelda does not really rotate around link that often, exspecially when moving. (Unless you use the controller to do so.)

Try a different controller.

I agree. I thought they pretty much perfected the third person camera with ocarina of time, and they made it even better for wind waker. I also don't recall it panning around randomly.

I agree, I found the Mario Sunshine camera to be annoying many times, either not moving or panning when I didn't want it too. But I am currently playing Wind Waker and am not having any camera problems.

Like the others, I thought the camera was fine. One of the better cameras I've seen in a 3rd person 3D game.

Zelda Wind Waker has one of, if not the, best 3-D camera around.

I got into the habit of constantly moving the camera around with the C stick. It may have been because I found the default camera to be frustrating; I don't recall.
