Just got a Sega Cd...Need games

So I just got a sega cd, and shining force cd. I need to know what other games are worth playing. I am going to pick up sonic cd at some point, but would kind of like to get a lot which includes it, so I need to know which other games are good. Thanks!

thanks for the lists guys! Are Earthworm Jim, Ecco, and Flashback any different than the genesis versions? I have a boatload of genesis games including all of those.

Definately Snatcher and Rise of the Dragon. If you like shooters there's Keio Flying Squadron, Lords of Thunder, and Robo Aleste.

I thought Sewer Shark and Mortal Kombat were the only two games to come out of this dreadful system. Well, i dug Sewer Shark......kinda.

Ecco and Flashback are the same but feature CD soundtracks in place of the Genesis sound chip music. They are definite upgrades. Ecco's music gets fully realized and is some of the most "calming" game music ever. Flashback's soundtrack actually manages to make the game immersive (it's very fitting, very well performed) inbetween fits of ripping your hair out.

Also, Sonic CD is short but very cool (the time travel aspect is pretty cool.) and the multi-level boss battles are quite cool.

Lunar was pretty much my favorite game on the system. Rise of the Dragon is a sortof-classic as well.

Always wanted to play Vay and Popful Mail... Snatcher - as well - is apparently great tho I haven't played much of it.

Heart of the Alien is a must play for OotW fans. (The original version is there, as mentioned above... only with better music)

Does anyone remember the name of the live action shooting type game that took place in Texas? I believe "Texas" was in the title...

Snatcher is a must buy no matter the cost. Get the Konami light gun to use with it. One of the best games ever.

Other stuff to get
Shining Force CD
Sonic CD
Rise of the Dragon
Lunar 1
Lunar 2
Vay
Popful Mail
The Adventures of Batman and Robin
Dracula Unleashed
Mickey Mania

I personally still play and enjoy the Sega CD.

I always loved Road Avenger

Heres a review...

I still have my original front load tray Sega CD in the box. Works perfectly.

Heres a pic...

I remember getting it for Xmas the year it was released....My poor parents shelled out like $299 for it but man at the time I loved it. I'll probably be putting it on Ebay soon as I need the cash though.

The Lunar games were fun as were Cobra Command and Snatcher. Most of which I've since sold for a pretty penny.

All this time, I was thinking this was a thread about Sega Dreamcast (Sega DC) because of the recent $14.99 deal, until I saw the linked picture.

I love my CDX that I rebought a year ago or so. The only gripe I have is that the A/C adapter plug is on the side of the unit instead of the back..
