"Rewinding" CDs on X-box

Is there a feature that will allow you to scan (rewind, search, etc) a music CD on the X-box system. I can only seem to skip from song to song.

Thx.

I think that they put them there just to "mark" the discs as their property or something. It is pretty silly though when you think about it..

Every now and then I hear the urban legend that someone went into blockbuster and was told you actually can rewind a DVD, and MUST rewind it by skipping back to the first chapter before you return it to them.

Back a long time ago, Blockbuster and other movie chains used to charge a fee if you did not rewind your tapes back to the beginning as you were not returning the video in a condition where the next person could immediately enjoy the film.

When I once worked at Blockbuster back in probably the Summer of 2000 the option was still in the computer to charge someone a fee for not rewinding, but of course we never used it. Although that didn't mean we didn't flag their account with some choice comments about the customer.
