Contra Metal
|
That was pretty good, unfortunately I don't remember much of Contra's music for some reason. Although I might have some tunes in my head but confusing them with other games heh.

That was a really cool interpretation of the Contra theme songs in my opinion. I also checked out the Metroid interpretations...pretty awesome.

Sounds like junk to me.

I too liked the Minibosses version better.
|
I don't know about Contra.. but the Minibosses' Metroid work sounds very bland compared to Stemage at Metroid Metal.
|
I like the Minibosses too but last time I checked they had taken down most of their MP3's.

That's pretty cool. Way back when, I was in a band that did some music from Mega Man 2. I remember one was from the Flash Man level, but can't remember the other two we did.

For those of you that like the whole metal/videogame fusion, you should check out S.S.H. No, not secure shell, rather Saitama Saishu Heiki. Check out their website here. There are a bunch of mp3's to dl. Of course most of the music is from japanese games, but the mixes are pretty good.

Heh.. well since most people probably can't read Japanese I'll link one most people will be familiar with for an example:
Final Fantasy VI (FF3 US): Decisive Battle: http://www.ssh.ne.jp/mp3/ff6_tdb2.zip Their sound is alright.. a little too "synthy" though. |
