Looking forward to DRIV3R?
I'm really looking forward to DRIV3R coming out. Ridley Scott has produced a short film that ties into the game. The scenes from the game along with the live action ones make this film look great. It's called, "Run the Gauntlet" and has trailers at DRIV3R Site. I think this game looks great. Agree?

Can't wait to play it, i just hope it isn't insanely difficult as the earlier ones.
Is there an official release date on it yet?
edit: EB and Gamestop show it being released 3/23/2004

It looks great, but the previews have been relatively unenthusiastic. You know when a preview ends with "Though it's still visibly got a lot of work left to be done to it..."
Only a month and a half away from release date. I'll have to wait for reviews.

I would be looking forward to it a little more, if it wasn't now called "DRIV3R". When did this happen!?
As it stands, it could be 3 fast 3 furious for someone like myself...

According to the developers, they said they learned a lesson when they made Stuntman too hard that they made a concerted effort not to let that happen again. I can't wait for this game.

I love Stuntman BECAUSE it is so damn hard. The fact that a game can be that difficult and still keep you coming back for more abuse speaks volumes about how good it is if the player can handle it. (BTW, I got 100% on every stunt. Eventually
)I hope DRIV3R includes a difficulty setting so I can ramp it up to Stuntman's level. Then everybody would be happy.

It took me about 50 times, but I beat the 1st Driver without cheat codes as well. Hell, it's like a badge of honor for me. I hope that Driver 3 offers some more of this toughness.

I just hope DRIV3R doesn't make you pass the "driving test"

I, too, could do without the driving test. But if I must beat it in order for some solid Driver 3 goodness, so be it.

So... in Driver 3... what I've read indicates that it's got run and gun elements like GTA3... Is this the case? Is it not just car/driving missions? Can we get out and shoot people and walk around and stuff? True Crime done right? Could it be?
