That's true, but I'd probably never play it anyway (1. I don't like the original that much. 2. Didn't the sequel suck and get terrible reviews back in the day) so I'd still personally go with the GC version for the shorter load times and the wavebird.

It got pretty good reviews, if I remember right. I thought it was great.

However if you didn't like the first one, you're not going to like the second one either.

I must be thinking of another game, or I just happened upon a reviewer than didn't like part 2.

I think the games are ok, they just didn't age well and are too frustrating IMO.

Part 2 was pretty fun - similar to 1 but with much better graphics and some added mechanics -- didn't play it very much but my brother and his friends beat it a number of times.

PoP 3d is the PC game that came out a few years ago and was absolutely hideous -- horrible reviews all around.

edit -- they do seem quite a bit harder with the control pad than a keyboard -- especially as far as stepping and stopping on the edge. Not as precise and precision is a big deal when you can't turn back time ;p
