CircuitCity.com Cheap Xbox Live Back in stock!

Anyone that is looking for an x-box live (version 3), circuitcity.com (and I assume the B&M as well) had them for 49.99 (free shipping) a while back. The xbox live goes for 60.00 or more anywhere else on or off line. They have been out of stock for quite some time now (at least ONLINE they have been out of stock, I think the B&M still had them), and you can see why. I just received an e-mail today saying they are back in stock, (online) checked it out for myself and sure enough...THEY ARE, so I ordered one! Hope this helps anyone looking for an xbox live!!!

Personally, I never thought I would get one, I do all my "onliine gaming" on my PC, and never thought I would have the desire to do so on any of my consoles. For Christmas my cousin in Florida (I am in NY) received the Live and he has been BEGGING and PLEADING with me to get it, so we can hook up online and play. After alot of thinking about pro's and cons, I am actually starting to get kind of excited about it!!! I especially cant wait for HALO 2 online. Anyone here already have the x-box live? You wanna give me your opinion of it? Thanks!!!

Good price.

Here is the link:

There are plenty of opinions on x-box live on the internet. It is only helpful if you really enjoy playing one or more of the X-box games.

IMO, sell all games that aren't Internet enabled (except for some of the complex role playing games) - this is the future.

Probably the reason you won't get many responses as people are too busy playing Project Gotham, Top-Spin etc. on the Internet ...

Enjoy.

I was at my local circuit city B&M last sunday, and noticed the same. $49 for a xbox live 1 year kit w/full version of mechassault and communicator gear. $34 for just the 1 year subscription card (plus a xbox live communicator pouch bag). I would buy it except that I don't have broadband in my area.

edit: just after posting the above msg, I decided what the heck, I'll check again to see if dsl is available in my area... and what do you know. it now is.

If you buy it local, don't forget to use a BB $5 coupon at CC.

And I will second the opinion that Xbox Live is fantastic.

I used this link for a 10 dollar coupon:

http://www.gamepro.com/ads/coupons/images/14886.pdf (Thanks Young!)

I brought this coupon to my local Circuit City, they accepted the coupon and applied it towards their price of 49.99, so I picked up the whole kit for 39.99 plus tax.

I need to renew my Xbox Live soon, but I might want to change user names.

Couldn't I just sign up again with this?

Draven, call xbox's 1-800 # and cancel your subscription(so it doesn't autorenew) and then just by a new kit(instant new gamertag)

Yes, CC corporate policy is to accept all competitor coupons. Clerks may try to deny you, managers may even, but if you are persistent they will take it.
