I am totally stuck in COD. I am in the dawnville mission where you have to get the panzerfausts from the church and blow up the tanks.

Well, ive blown up all the tanks, but its impossible to get to my next objection because one of the thanks is barricading the street. What do i do? (this is the part where a sniper shoots at you if you stand between the tank and the wall)

I have played through this level several times, but I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. When you hit TAB, what does it tell you your next objective is?

Yes, check your objectives. Most of the time that I'm wondering what to do next, it usually says to meet a commanding officer for more instruction.

Man, I love this game. I could not get into MOH or BF1942 but I can't put this one down.

....of this game. Have completed the single player twice and have been playing MP eversince.

I won't really have the chance to compare the MP of COD with MOA or Battlefield 1942 since I neither have any of them but I have heard that the ongoing online cheating has basically made MOA not fun to play anymore.

I find the players in the COD servers to be more into teamwork and a little bit more mature. Just hope the upcoming patch will address the cheating issue like wallhacks and aimbots, since these seem to be seeping in the servers.

It says my next objective is to destroy the third tank? I dont understand that though, because all the tanks are blown up-

My next objective appears to be out of reach because a huge tank is blocking the way down a street. It is positioned sideways, with some barricades next to it. How do i get around this?

You haven't blown up the 3rd tank yet. You are probably on the wrong side of the church.

If I remember correctly, you blow up the first tank near the door into the church which holds the pfoust. Then you go to the opposite side of the church driving the enemy back. Then you return to the original side where a tank busts through a wall. You blow that one up. The final tank is toward the exit of the level on the same side the door to the church is on. Just follow the sound of machine gun fire or look to see where the germans are continually spawning from.

but there is no way to get to the other side of the church????
(the side where you spray all the germans with the mg42's)

How are you supposed to get to the other side? I neglected to mention that this is the PC version, not the PS2 version - if it makes any difference

No Xbox version either. There is an upcoming game for the consoles called Call of Duty: Finest Hour but it will be completely different missions than the PC version.

I just replayed the Dawnville mission to try and figure out where you are. You don't actually need to destroy the third tank. If you wait, two other guys will do it for you (one sprays the inside with machine gun fire and the other drops in a grenade).

After that, your objective should be the "Remove Enemy Mortar Posisitons." You want to go between the two tanks and towards the star on your map, where you'll hit a new area with a sniper rifle and a lot of Germans in the distance firing at you.

You said that two other guys will do it for you? I have yet to see that. How do i get that to happen.

the objective appears to be behind the tank? My curent next objective says "destroy the third" tank, but they are ALL destroyed in the areas that i can reach.
