Anyone planning on picking up NFL Street?

I can't decide if it looks cool or not, and was just looking for some of your opinions.

From: Work. Or commuting. Certainly not at home.
I probably will, pending reviews.

I love the NBA Street games, so this should hopefully be equally as good.

I LOVE nba street series but for some reason I do not know if they will pull it off with football, besides the guys look like ass , but I will probably get it, because if I can't waste my money on videogames then terrorists have won

I figure it will probably be like NBA Street for me. It will be cool for an hour or so, then get old quickly. Sounds like a rental for me just to check it out.

It's on my Q at Gamefly, which means I'll be renting before I buy it. But it looks fun.

Yeah, I might have to rent it first before I go dropping $50 on it.

I liked this game when it was called NFL Blitz.

No seriously, it looked cool, it might be worth a rental.

Might be a blast to play online on the PS2. We'll see.

BTW I saw a demo disc at Best Buy today but forgot to pick it up. anyone try that yet?

Picked up demo at BB, can only play as KC or Philly. Options are very limited, still enjoyed it.

I've never liked arcadey football games like Blitz, so I really can't see myself enjoying this at all.

Demo is free - supposed to be you get it when you buy certain music CDs, but they never check that stuff - they just ring it up and it comes up free. I picked on up the other day and tried it last night and was quite surprised just how much I liked it. The demo is limited (2 teams playing to 21) but for an EA demo it's actually got a lot of gameplay. You can play a full game to 21 no matter how long it takes, and then you can play again.. (I still have bad memories of the PS2 NFS Underground demo - 2 minutes of load time for about 30 seconds of gameplay, and then you had to wait while the entire OPM magazine front end loaded etc...).

Had some good action, same basic idea as NBA Street with the style points and moves, and some very good player animations and field graphics.

I was definitely going to get it, but EA finally wised up and cancelled my order. I'm on the fence now...Both of the NBA Street games were great, but playing against the computer got old quickly. At least the PS2 version of NFL Street will have online play.

i don't have a football game because i hate having to buy the new ones every year.

however this looks like a blast and seems like it will have good replay value so i think i'm gonna buy it.

plus, cmon barry sanders, ronnie lott, lester hayes!!!! excellent legend action!

[/broken record mode on] Don't forget to use the $5 BB coupon at CC .[/broken record mode off]

Also, I have the free demo (which can still be found at BB), and it was a lot of fun. I'll probably be picking this up.
