Hi All,

Does anybody have any good info & recommendations for PS1/PS2 memory card readers that can xfer files back and forth between the card & a PC.

I have several cards strewn about & am wanting the reader so as to:

1) Consolidate all current saves
2) Free up space for more on new games

Mentions for recommended retailers for said item are also welcome.

Any thoughts?

I don't know of any PC memory card readers, so I can't help there... but can't you use the PS2 browser to copy and consolidate game saves from one card to the other? I thought you could, but I've never done it myself so I don't know.

Yes, you can copy games from one card to another. But you will need 2 PS2 or 2 PS1 cards in order to do so on using the browser.

I don't know about PS2, but a device called a Dex Drive works with PS1 memory cards. You can copy game files to your hard drive to free up memory card space. I bought mine a couple years ago when they were discounted to $10. Game stores probably don't carry them anymore, but you could always try eBay.
