KOTOR on Xbox or PC?
So I got a $50 EB gift card and am pretty sure that I finally want to purchase this game after receiving all the other games I wanted as presents, but now I'm not sure whether to buy Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic on X box or PC? The PC is $10 dollars cheaper so if there isn't really that big of a difference I would get that one but I heard that its a port and that there are some bugs and it was originally made for the X box? Any experiences?

While I enjoyed KOTOR on the xbox, fights were a pain for me, because you could only direct one character at a time. If the PC version lets you control the characters like baldurs gate and neverwinter does, I'd say its worth it. Also bear in mind that it takes a good 50 hours to play each side, so consider where you would like to spend all that time sitting. Personally, a mouse makes things SO much easier.

There are bugs in the X-Box version also... ran into one the other night. So I don't think that should be the deciding factor...
Here's the lovely one I hit (The "Carth Glitch").

Thank goodness I found the description on the web as I was just about to boil my friend's disc (i had cleaned it about 10 times thinking it must be a disc problem)
All that said, I am playing the X-Box version and loving it.

I had both and played both A LOT. I prefer the PC version.
It all depends on your system specs. There were a few technical bugs, but a patch fixed all of it.
Basically, with the PC version, you get much better graphics, the extra content not available on the XBOX yet, and faster loading times.

I didn't think the PC version is any different.
They use their default attack/support setup, unless you switch to them to give your own commands.. otherwise they will act along with your main character.

i read that there is a space station that you can go to - but i thought it wasn't a huge addition.
tough call but if i had a choice right now, i'd go w/ the pc version as well... honestly though, i really enjoyed sitting on the sofa and playing the game on the xbox. so, it's a tough call. (unlike morrowind - PC version all the way!)

here's the plan... get a 57" DLP tv w/ dvi input... hook up my pc to it, get a wireless keyboard and mouse. gaming glory?
