I would be your best friend forever if you knew where I could still get a copy of the Limited Ys Complete I&II Book set.

The Limited Edition for Ys Eternal I & II was looooooooong sold out. I'm sorry but I can't help you there. I barely got my regular edition of Ys Eternal I & II on DVD. They shortly sold out after I got my copy. -_-

Crap.. I don't care about the limited edition actually.. I'd just like to have both on one DVD.. the girl I'm talking to about Ys said it was only I&II on one disc in the super limited big box thing.
Yes, the link is to the PC version..
Here is the translation site (with screenshots):

The prices from Falcom directy look decent.. 4800 yen should be $45-$50 depending on current yen prices.

FYI, there is a reason why Sony didn't allow the game to come to the US.
The PS2 port of Ys Eternal by DigiCube was, supposedly, very, very badly done. This is why Falcom is now working with Konami instead for Ys VI.
But it has become fashionable to bash Sony, despite the fact that they may be making a sound decision here.

Actually, Digicube went bankrupt that's why Falcom couldn't even work with them even if they wanted to. Not sure about the quality of the PS2 port though.
I got Ys I&II eternal on one DVD. The box looks like a book. Maybe that is the one that you're talking about?

Yes, Digicube went bankrupt, but Falcom apparently was not satisfied with the port, so they went to Konami, who promised them to give Ys the proper treatment on consoles.
Not sure why Falcom didn't go to Hudson Soft. After all, they made Ys I & II and Ys IV for the PC-Engine...

My reason to "bash" Sony is based on the fact that the previous report in PSM did not state a reason for this decision, and one can only assume that Sony is doing what they've done in the past (epically considering PS1 games) with denying license to import titles, i.e.: "It's 2D" or other nonsense that kept many a good game stuck in Japan.
