Simple, fun, cheap action game by solo developer
Dungeon Scroll
It's an odd cross between Scrabble/Typing of the Dead and an action-oriented RPG. Monsters attack you and you have to fend them off as quickly as possible. You have a bunch of letters at the bottom of the screen, and you have to type in a word - the longer the word, the more damage you do. You can't use the same word twice in one round (and in one round, you'll be making about 30 words, so you've got to be creative!) You also get some special tiles, like a x2-damage letter.
It's fun. The trial is free; it costs $8 to unlock and get past the first few levels.
