SSBM for gamecube...

Anyone still play this game?? One of the best/deapest games i have ever played. This, the first one, and goldeneye were the only games I literally played for years on end. I was just curious if anyone is in the same boat.

If the right crowd is over we still play Super Smash Bros. Melee. Also we still play WCW vs. NWO revenge on N64. Simply one of the best game engines ever for wrestling. Def Jam Vendetta has the same engine and we are now starting to play it some.

When I moved away from L.A I was thinking about selling SSBM because no one ever played the game with me. Well upon moving out here I met a guy who never stopped playing the game since its release, and did he teach me a thing or two! Now whenever we gather as a group its mainly...

-SSBM
-Mario Kart DD
-Soul Calibur 2

We've tried playing conventional fighters like Street Fighter 3 and Capcom VS SNK 2 but I tend to beat them all and it just leads to frustration.

I don't get it, really. The game confuses me and it just feels too fast.. can't stop and smell the roses. What am I missing?

It's a button masher with substance, if that makes sense.

Yes! We still play this game since it came out. One of the best games ever, there are a lot of tricks and techniques to it that aren't so obvious at first but it gets very involving. We've been playing a lot of Mario Kart lately but we still play this game. I don't know how many hours we've spent playing it .
