I forgot the extra t in my earlier post.
It's alright if you've already sent the code to someone else, it's not like I really need to whup anyone's ass online right now.

I have 2 if anyone wants one (e-mail in profile) I just ordered Live from Amazon (thanks to whoever posted that deal) so will I be able to sign up for the 2 month free trial and then extend my Live subscription after the 2 month free trial without having to switch tags?

Still, remember that you need a headset as well as the live subscription if you want to really enjoy Live. Unfortunately the sweet Amazon deal on starter kit 3.0 is now kaput (was $39.99, now $69.99). You still can find V2.0 kits around for $50, and that's the deal to jump on. Otherwise, it's $29.99 for the headset and $50 for a year.

Edit: Nevermind, you answered my question in the post above. Thanks.

BTW, you don't have to wait for your subscription to expire, either. You can just go into your account and enter they 1 year subscription code and it'll be set for a "free" renewal rate at the end of your subscription. Bottom line : You'll get to add a year to the account you already have. Congrats on getting in on the deal.
BTW I haven't seen any older Live kits in any Targets in a while, but saw the placecard for V2.0 yesterday and it was $49.99.

I haven't checked the prices at my local Targets lately, but I did notice alot of 2.0 kits the last time there, which was about 2 days ago. I'll have to check the prices again

So if I did find a kit at Target, I could renew now and extend it until August 2005?

When I bought my Live kit a month ago, it was ringing up $49.99 even though it had a $34.99 sticker on it. It took a manager to key in the price. If you can get one for $34.99 it's certainly worth doing.
