Action stick turns your body into a joystick



It uses infrared sensors to detect body movement. It may be coming out for xbox and PS2.

Anyone remember Sega Genesis activator? I admit it was cool the first time, but unless you were lightning quick, it was impossible to win any games..

However, if this is more responsive, has a better range of movement, and is easy to position yourself to, it'll be great

For certain games

Video arcades have these for Tekken-type games for years now using the same technology. It's a novelty that'll wear off soon, as you won't be as responsive with your body movements as you would with your fingers on the controller.

You could do that with the old Atari 2600 joystick if you sat on it just right.
