never heard of the VG Cats, but the artwork is pretty good, i'll have to check it out.
I visit Penny Arcade every once and awhile. Occasionally they are funny, occasionally they are not. But mostly I like them because a lot of their comics are jabs at the video game industry as it is more and more becoming into the mainstream spotlight, especially their Phantom comics, or the the one about that time IGN turned Ronald McDonald on us. They live pretty close to Microsoft and Nintendo, and know guys on the inside so the write ups sometimes have some good bits and impressions of games not yet released. Lately the comics haven't been as great though but with all the new releases coming up they've got a lot to work with. Anyway, as it was mentioned humor is subjective, so i'll leave it at that.
