PGR 2 is an excellent racing game overall and boasts such a sheer quantity of features and options that most other racing games simply cannot compare. On top of that, solid gameplay and a diverse, flat-out terrific selection of cars help give PGR 2 plenty of long-term appeal. And, you get all this for a mere fraction of the cost of even the most inexpensive vehicles featured in the game. But even if you don't see it that way, PGR 2 is still an exceptionally good deal considering all that it has to offer.

Well, you all have talked me into geting this. Now you better not get bored with it in a week (like everyone apparently did with CS) since it's being sent by EB's Super Slow Shipping opiton and will probably take two weeks to get here.
I'm looking forward to this one now; it does sound like a very good game. Gamespot really does tend to lowball their game scores, don't they?

ok, i played my first session on line yesterday - mostly w/ friends - and it was a blast!
nuruburuger is an awesome track! we did it about 4 times and it was great.
--
couple of notes... didn't realize that 8 was the maximum number of people. i guess that's ok as there was no lag nor voice problems. my kudo's rank was #1 (whoo hoo!!!! oh, wait, the higher the number, the more kudos... )
--
man, i can't believe i thought i would skip this game.

I sent an invite to iceman, who was also playing PGR2, but he didn't join us for some fun.
Also, from what I can tell, when the winner crosses the line the rest of the people have 1 minute to finish the race, otherwise they won't get any of their kudos points. If no one crosses the line to win, then the race would be for as long as we want. Is that right? So, would it be cheating if we get in a game where instead of racing to the finish line, we just drive around doing stunts to rackup kudos points for a while?
