Musicmixer and Karoke=Burn In
I have a mits 65" RPTV that's been calibrated, but I'm wondering about the affect of using the New Music Mixer's Karoke Capability and the Lyrics on the screen. I know in Bars RPTV's are usually cranked in contrast and they use them alot and I always see Burn in. I'd be lowering my contrast and only using this once in a while for parties am I safe ? I'd hate to burn the set in. THe alternative is another Xbox and another setup but that's inconvienient...

Well, your comparing tv's that are, in most cases, used daily for sports/karaoke so burn in of the ESPN style ticker or stationary logos from Karaoke discs is inevitable.
With proper calibration on your RPTV and moderate use of titles that have stationary menus/graphics you shouldn't have to worry about burn in. I hate how the warning in the TV and game manuals make it sound like your screen will get ruined if you look at it the wrong way!
My Mits 46" is my main display for movies games and the occasional karaoke DVD and I've had no problems with burn-in myself.
