XBOX Rainbow Six - Who's Getting it?
 

I'm addicted to the demo. I'll be sure grab a copy when my local B&M opens tomorrow.

Software Etc. called me today (Tuesday) to let me know that it came in, but I haven't picked it up yet.

The demo was pretty good, but I have too many games to play right now. I'm thinking of losing my $10 pre-order and passing on it.

But then I'll read about how great it is and pick it up at lunch tomorrow.

The demo was pretty cool. I'm getting it. I'm suprised there has been no reviews. I'm limiting myself to RS3, and True Crimes as my only games for November.

I'm picking up my copy tomorrow. If the demo is any indication, this game is going to be awesome.

i got my copy reserved at the ubi store when they had the 10 dollar coupon and free 2nd day shipping :)

I'd like to get it but I am already getting True Crime and Morrowind GOTY (assuming it ever gets released). I might pick it up if there is a good sale, though :D

I pre-ordered with that Ubi Soft deal. Loved the demo and can't wait to get the game on Live.

Yeah, I already did this deal once. I got Crimson Skies, ESPN Basketball, and a third game to trade in for True Crime. If Morrowind somehow ends up released before the sale ends, I might do it again, but I don't see that happening lol.

I'm gonna pick my copy up from Gamestop today as well. The demo is sick...I can't wait to play this game online.

It seemed like the all the customers crowd at my local game store was grabbing a copy of RS3 and Top Spin.

Live is gonna be great tonight.

Anybody play it yet? Anybody have 1st impressions other than what we saw in the demo?

Software Etc. let me transfer my pre-order money over to my SOCOM II pre-order. I'll probably pick this one up later.

Actually, I'm quite proud of myself. It's the first time I've shown any restraint when it comes to new games in a LONG time. With SOCOM, Crimson Skies, GR:IT, Madden, etc, I just don't have enough time to start a new game.

I'll probably own it within a month though. Who am I kidding?

I'm suprised they criticised the graphics so much. It looked miles better than SOCOM or GR:IT to me and I was pretty impressed by the demo. I have no idea why I buy games like this since I suck so bad at them but it does look to be a pretty cool game.
Perhaps we should start a clan or something?

I didn't realy want another game right now but this looks to good resist. I loved Ghost Recon and it looks like this will be better then that.

Maybe since it has been out on the PC for a while they are used to higher rez. I love it on the PC, great multi player and much better graphics than Ghost. I think you will be happy with the way it looks on the Xbox.

Since I already have the PC version I had no plans to get this. The changes to the single player mode that IGN described in their review have me interested though. Still, I'll at least be waiting until I can get a good price on ths one.

It's a better single player game than GR, but not as good a Live game as GR:IT.....

I picked my copy up today. I am looking to playing it some more.

If you had to pick either this or Counterstrike, would you pick this up now or wait just a bit for CS? I'm trying to decide.

Btw, are you guys seeing lag when playing in 14-16 player games? My connection is 1.5/256 DSL and I see lag even though I'm not hosting.

mee, when you say it's not as good on-line as GRIT, could you elaborate a bit. What are the differences that make it inferior?

I went into a room briefly last night with about 10-12 people and I noticed some serious lag. I only played it for about a half hour last night....that was the only room I tried with lots of people.
