Madden 2004
Have a few questions for those with Madden experience:
1) How much do you control individual players on d-fence (esp with regards to playing pass d)? It seems like the game is set up so that you can have linemen knock passes down or have d-backs try to intercept the ball. However, I find it next to impossible to contol individual players in this way and wonder if I'm just not good enough. There doesn't seem to be enough time by the time the Q'b throws the ball. Often too, the d-back is off screen in protection. Normally if I try to micro manage, my guy get's out of coverage and then I'm faced with an 80 yard bomb.
2) Same question with regards to receivers. Do you have them "jump" (y button on Xbox) to increase the chance that they catch the ball?
3) Any way of making a global change to the length of all games that the computer simulates so that it matches the 20 to 24 minute game that I play? If the computer is playing 60 minute games, then it makes really no sense to compare team or individual statistics. I know I can set a time length for MY games, but how about the computer's??
Thanks for the help,
Ron.

I know it is hard to control the d-backs, so i usually use a linbacker an blitz every time. When the pass is in the air, i then switch to the d-back nearest the receiver that the ball is going to.
I dont think that you can change the game time of the computers games.
