this is also my first impression. all i've done so far are the dogfight and team dogfights. seems like mechassault in the air.

i'm going to try to do the campaign to get my flying skills up to snuff though. really got slammed yesterday and i'm a 1 dot-er.

I'm PM'ing BBuy. I'm thinking of buying it today to insure I have it and then returning and rebuying on Sunday.

My plan is: Hit BBuy first (it's a 100% pricematch as I already have a manager who assured me he will let me use the coupon) and see if I can everything I want. If not, then I'll take a trip to Toys R Us to pick up another coupon, see if I can find anything there, and if there's stuff I still want then go to Circuit City (who will also do it... it's where I got the 3 GC games last week).

But Best Buy is my main place.

I'm a 1 dot-er too. I simply just suck at this. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I do use a lot of the special moves. But seems like people can get on my tail real easy.

I know you got me at least a couple of times. I'm not sure which plane you were using, but I was able to keep the brakes on and stay on your tail even when you were making tight turns (I was using a Coyote). More than anything else, I think that was a "plane selection" advantage vs. any skill on my part. I was surprised that I only got 4 kills in that last game, with 10+ deaths. I don't usually have that much fun playing a game that poorly.

What about picking up 2 games, then heading to Best Buy on Sunday for the third one? I know two games I want already, but I haven't decided on a third.

I'm not going to push it. I'm going to wait for the deal. I'm not opening any games until after the deal is done.

I'm thinking you won't be able to do it unless you RETURN them and THEN make the deal. I wouldn't advise it if you think the games will still be there on Sunday.

I only got you after you were already blowing smoke from a previous fight. I was using that big blue plane. NOt sure what it's called. I tried Devastator and it's a much faster plane than that blue one.

young - seems like the black button shows you the closest enemy. So it switches depending on who's closest. I guess...

Also, the voice thing... The white button is to broadcast to your entire team. The other team still won't hear you. Could be usefull to call for help when your team isn't near you...

The local BBuy has 20 copies so I won't picking it up after all until Sunday proper.

You mean like walk in, return them, tell them the deal, and say you just want to buy them back? I guess even if they refuse, they still have to give you your money back since they'd be sealed, and you'd have a receipt.

My Best Buy is weird, I have no idea if they'd have them on Sunday or not. I think they have them now, at least according to the website, but they tend to sell out quick. Patience is a virtue I lack
