Want a free video game strategy guide? Here they are!

The story is at the bottom of the page after the guide listing.

Here's the deal: You pay actual shipping and Paypal fees if you want to pay that way (around 5% of the shipping price, which I'm expecting to be $2-$3). I'll calculate shipping at www.usps.com once I have your zip. The actual guide is FREE.

I'd prefer money orders. You can pay by check ONLY if you bank at Wells Fargo, Bank of America, or Washington Mutual. You can do Paypal if you pay the fee (I don't estimate the fee to be over $0.50 but I don't know yet).

I have multiple copies of some of these, so ask away. I'll take them off as I promise them.

1 X Sonic Adventure DX (GameCube)

4 X DragonBall Z The Legacy of Goku II (GameBoy Advance) - Prima - comes with a Limited DVD inside

1 X Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness (PS2) - Prima

1 X Wario World (GameCube) - Official Nintendo

If so, it's 7 free guides (pay shipping only and Paypal fees if that's your choice of payment) for 7 lucky people I had planned that as a thank you for all the deals I've gotten through here.

I got the manager's name and I plan to do a corporate complaint.

The Summerlin rep confirmed I can return the games and keep the guides and that the manager CANNOT arbitrarily set up rules like that. I WILL be following this through.

I decided to keep three (one each of Sonic Heroes DX, Link Wind Waker, and Ghost Recon), so I have 5 Ghost Recon, 1 Sonic Heroes, and 1 Link Wind Waker for anyone here that wants them

Trust me, you don't want me ticked off and on a crusade. Bad customer service is one thing I don't let off lightly (I think it's a "I try my hardest every day to please my customer you better darn believe I'm going to expect the same from you" kind of thing )

Deb, I wouldn't mind taking Splinter Cell and Zelda Wind Waker (preferably the official Nintendo version) off your hands. I just sent you an e-mail as well. Let me know if they're still available. If they are, I'll give you my zip and we'll work out payment arrangements.

Thanks!

The Zelda Official and Splinter Cell ones are yours

How do you figure out how much these things weigh?

Thanks, Deb. The Splinter Cell guide is a general one for all the systems, right? (I have the PS2 version, so I want to make sure I'm covered.)

How do you figure out how much these things weigh?
Hmmm, I have NO idea. Sorry. :\

BTW, can you respond to my e-mail so (1) I can make sure DVD Talk's e-mail form actually works, and (2) so I can have it on file. I'll then reply with my zip and all that other info. If for some reason you didn't get it, my addy is [email protected].

Thanks again!

Milo: You got it. One Goku II coming your way. I'll let you all know totals once I figure out how much a guide weighs

DBH Ok I'll reply to the e-mail. Yes it's a generic one to all three.

I've updated the list to show ones still available

By the way I didn't specify this (took it for granted) but for shipping it's going to include the cost of the packaging, not just postage - I already had that included in the $2-$3 figure. I plan to go to the dollar store and get a bunch of envelopes really cheap.

Ok I figured it out... 1 pound or less. You can't calculate first class or media mail online too well (it's too confusing) so I'll call the post office tomorrow. Shipping should be around $1, around $1 for the material, and around 20 cents for Paypal.

Looks like shipping, the PayPal fee, etc. may end up being cheaper than you originally stated and what I just quoted in the e-mail. Very nice!

Well I just realized Paypal is 30 cents plus 2.9% of total, so it's at least 30 cents Anyone else who wants to calculate Paypal fees now can. For example if shipping is $2, Paypal fees are $0.36 for a total of $2.36.

Mercury you really have an F-Zero guide coming to you

Ok so far I got:

Zelda official - DaBargainHunta
Zelda Brady - sjividen
Splinter Cell - DaBargainHunta - Fujishig
F-Zero GX - Fujishig, Creature X, Mercury, keit2208
Goku - Milo bloom, CreatureX
Matrix - Wepaman

I still have the ones up there, including Goku II and F-Zero GX.

Am I missing anyone?

Also let me know if you prefer cheaper price (media mail) or speed (first class). For those of you with two guides, first class may not be an option because of weigh limitations.

Deb, would I be able to add it to my list? I don't have the game, but I'll eventually get it, so the guide might prove useful. Would it adversely affect my shipping fees if I add another guide to my order? (Let me know that first and then I'll confirm if I actually want it.)

Also, what exactly is on the Goku II DVD that comes with the guide? To be honest, I have no use for the guide itself, but if the DVD is cool enough, I might consider it.

Thanks.

Well you already got two guides... would you mind to see if anyone else wants it? Trying to spread it around If no one else wants it it's yours! The DVD has:

- Never before seen Dragon Ball GT Episode 22 "The Baby Secret"
- Yu Yu Hakusho trailer
- Dragon Ball Z: Broly feature trailer
- Blue Gender trailer
- Atari E3 sizzle videos featuring Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
- Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku and Dragon Ball Z Collectible Card Game sizzle videos

Of course. I am being a bit greedy now, aren't I? Sorry about that. ^_^

I don't expect your F-Zero supply to last past tonight, but if Goku is still available when all of this is said and done, I might consider it. I secured the guides I really wanted anyway, so it's all good.
