best pre-made arcade controller (Hot Rod or X Arcade) ?

I ordered the Hot Rod. I will let you guys know how it is. I want a Slikstik, but couldn't afford it at this time. My thinking is I'll get that too then turn the Hot Rod into a 4 way joystick and use the Slikstik or 8 way games.
