Viewtiful Joe Trailers/pics new+ preorder bonus

Ok I've seen the others but this one is new to me:

http://www.capcom.com/v-joe/spots/viewtifuljoe.mpg

http://www.capcom.com/v-joe/spots/sneak_peak.mpg

The trailer even has the mgs-ish stepping on the rocket in slow motion scene.

And the offical site has got music videos too.
http://www.capcom.com/v-joe/index2.html

And if you buy it off the offical site shipping is free and you get a free t-shirt
http://www.capcom.com/xpml/game.xpml?gameid=750044

and gamestop.com gives you a bobble head

And these are some of the pics I hadnt seen before either.

And also EGM just gave it an 8.5, 9.0, 8.5

This games a satire right?

Kind of, its more like (I think) a nod to comic book action. Some people who ask me about immediately complain that the graphics look "dumb" but once I pop in the demo and play it for a bit they change there minds. But still some are not as impressed, but if I went by what they felt was impresive I'd have a lot of crappy games.

I'm heading to Gamestop tomorrow to pre-order for the bobblehead, it's worth the extra 5 bucks more compared to BB's price.

It's a shame this game probably won't even come close to selling the same amount of units Enter the Matrix did. It just shows you the casual gamers are starting to take over the industry, dark times are coming I fear.

if you order it online through gamestop you can get the bobblehead, no tax (depending on where you live), and 15% off. the code is "15gcgames"

Yeah it sucks that this wont get a cover, but people still know about it. It sold out in japan like the first week. And a lot of the magazines are pointing out not to make this a 'sleeper hit'. And a lot of games dont let you preorder, or you dont need to, and dont get something extra, so I think this will do alright.

Ebgames, ebgames.com, doesnt say that you get a bobble head with it. And shipping is about 5-6 dollars, which is about 7% off so you only get like a few bucks off.

And the deal expires today at 2.

Dark times are already here, my friend. I just hope the "MTV" Video Game fad dies out soon, so those of us who enjoy real video games can play in peace again.

What 'mtv' video game fad? Are you talking about the britney spears games or something?

Or are you talking about video games becoming popular? And making the geek-jock line not be so noticable? What you smokin?

They've been doing marketing games forever, remember cool spot? Or the olsen twin's games?

I'm really interested in this title, but I'm curious as to it's playtime. Generally side-scrollers don't take too much time to beat. Anybody know it's playtime by any chance?

I'm not sure, but there's supposed to be plenty of replay value.

I think the bobble head is cool but I dont really need a bobble head. And the tshirt is XL. How fat are these gamers? Holy crap.

And I think this game will be cool, but it is a side scroller and those can be beaten pretty fast, i.e. strider, so I think I'm going to wait and rent it first.

It would have been cool if they had added a few characters and let you play this with multiplayer, we havent seen a multiplayer sidescroller in quite some time.

It's supposed to be very challenging. Keeping the play time up.
I played the demo at E3 extensively, and this is probaly the best sidescroller I have ever played (and I played quite a few). Short play time or no- it's gonna be worth the $50!

I'm going to buy it anyway, why not get a free bobble with it? Anyway I'm probably gonna ebay the bobble, effectively making the game around $29 or so.

I won't order disc based games online anymore. I ordered The Legend of Zelda:Wind Waker from EB and when it got here it was poorly packaged and the disc was loose and scratched. Plus shipping takes a day or two longer to get the game.

Depending on how good you are at twitch gaming, the game could last 10 hours or so(although it can be beaten in 5 hours or so I have read also) I have read, the game can be difficult apparently. There are 3 unlockable characters, 2 unlockable difficulty levels(think dante must die mode in dmc).

I've never had a game arrive in bad shape, but I can understand how you'd feel that way.

I only pre-order if I get something extra with it, and even then the game is usually cheaper than the B&M.

Case in point: I pre-ordered Soul Calibur 2 and got the Link Cel art and a t-shirt for the same price I would've paid at Best Buy etc.

You are right about the wait, but I don't get all twitchy if I don't get the game the first day it's out like I used to.

The MSRP of this game is $40!! (you can thank Capcom and Nintendo for that one).

$35 at BB with the gamer's coupon = Sale and happy Outlaw

I might go for that bobble head though too, it really fits the game style. It would look pretty sweet in my car. I live off campus so I have to commute to my classes and do a lot of driving. Joe's the man.

I just got back from picking up the bobblehead from Gamestop. It's decent quality for being free and all, so I won't complain...

It's kinda heavy to, dunno what it is made of though. It almost seems fragile but probably isn't.

Humm.. This game must appeal to younger men as it's doing nothing for me.

I would think the game would appeal to older gamers because it has the old style of gameplay during the NES,SNES era. I honestly don't expect many teens even older teens to like this game partially because the violence level isn't through the roof like GTA and isn't a hyped movie license game with no substance...
