September 25, 2003 - A new developer, Tranji, is hard at work on a new game for Vivendi Universal named Red Ninja: End of Honor. The action adventure title is due out in the Fall of 2004 for both PS2 and Xbox. Film director Shinsuke Sato is providing the action-oriented story about revenge. The innovation with Red Ninja should be it's combination of action, adventure, stealth, seduction and fighting…in that order.

"Red Ninja: End of Honor will offer authentic ninja game-play and action around ever corner", said Philip O'Neil Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "This epic adventure carries universal themes that every player will relate to - 'duty versus honor, old versus new'".

That's funny, he didn't say anything about the seduction elements of the game. Anyway, you're cast the role of a kunoichi named Kurenai. Set in feudal Japan, players will guide Kurenai on her mission of vengeance to overcome the Black Lizard Clan using her revolutionary Tetsugen. It's a wire weapon that can be slung at enemies and customized with different attachments and wire properties. Kurenai will also have the standard ninja abilities like using disguises and slick escape techniques to go along with the non-traditional ninja ability to use her womanly charms to her advantage. Blowguns and smoke bombs will also be part of her arsenal of ninjatry.
